Introduction to Remote Spectrum Monitoring-GUI Operation

This presentation covers the fundamental operation of Anritsu's Remote Spectrum Monitors web based graphical user interface (GUI). Operating the Remote Spectrum Monitor (RSM) via a wireless or wired LAN connection is enabling a new and innovating way of spectrum monitoring. Wherever you can access a web browser on your PC, Laptop, Tablet or Smartphone it provides access to spectrum data for monitoring, spectrum clearance or radio propagation purposes. After a general introduction into the GUI elements the user will learn about setting the correct parameters for frequency, reference level, resolution and video bandwidth. Definition and operating limit lines for alarming as well as naming the RSM sensor and the usage of automatic setup files are instructed.
