How to Perform 802.11ax TRx Test with MT8862A
This video introduces our Wireless Connectivity Test Set MT8862A for evaluating the signal quality of an IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax wireless LAN (WLAN) device by simulating an access point (AP) connection procedure. The all-in-one MT8862A tester measures the TRx RF properties of 2.4, 5, and 6-GHz band WLAN devices. It features the Network mode using signaling messages simulating actual operation, as well as support for quick evaluation using the Direct mode. The IEEE 802.11ax 6-GHz band is the first new operating frequency band in about 20 years and was approved for unlicensed use by the US FCC in April 2020, and many countries worldwide are now considering unlicensed rollouts.
