Communication systems in cars have become very complex. Different types of testing are required to ensure proper functioning of the system. One could argue that a car, with its modern communication system, is like a smartphone on wheels. However, in a car, additional requirements must be considered, such as durability, safety and much more that extends beyond smartphone testing. This webinar focuses on the testing of an automotive communication system in a lab. It is important to address vehicle communication systems testing first from a modem physical layer perspective due to different phases of HW integration, such as antenna systems, immunity testing i.e. its implication on different applications and so on. There are a lot of applications broadly categorized into telematics for vehicle specific functionalities and infotainment for end user functionalities. Both need to function properly for seamless end user experience. The webinar examines these types of application testing.
