In June 2025, a new European Union regulation will require all smartphones and tablets in the market to display an energy label. Energy efficiency and battery life are two consumer-led key characteristics that will be addressed in the new regulation. Anritsu and SmartViser have developed a complete solution for testing and declaration of energy classes, using an automated device test software from SmartViser together with Anritsu’s MD8475B network simulator.
