Field Master MS2080A combines a fully featured spectrum analyzer with an RTSA, LTE and 5G modulation quality measurement suite plus a comprehensive range of interference hunting tools. This video highlights the ease with which these features can be combined to make over the air measurements on live LTE and 5G base stations. Further analysis includes using the RTSA to monitor for intermittent or in band interfering signals. A broadband log periodic directional antenna is used to identify the location of the transmitter and plot its direction on a digital map. MS2080A is ideal for field service technicians installing and maintaining cellular networks. National regulators monitoring the spectrum for interfering signals and illegal transmitters benefit from a comprehensive set of tools for interference hunting including spectrograms with long term recording, audio tone supported direction finding and an RTSA to capture short term interferers.
